we went to the shore yesterday and met up with four other couples,the wind blew off the water for the entire day but man what a day,the air was so clear and
the day so sunny its the first time all summer I sat out in the sun for the entire day,tomorrow its supposed to rain and wend.Im having company for four
days.Today is going to be the best day to mow and cut the bushes.Maybe if I have any energy left Ill do some weeding,then tomorrow when its raining Ill
concentrate of housework.The gardens are now stunning,man Im always surprised how they respond to a little early care and planning.

welp its raining and has been raining since about four this morning,Im glad I did what I did yesterday.However,I went into the veggie garden because while I
was mowing I saw a glimpse of red on the bottom of those tomatos,I looked and sure enough there was a small red tomato,now for the bad news,the bottom of those
tomato plants are full of dead leaves,this may be because of all the rain,Im not sure,I took a few minutes and cut them all off leaving he tomato plants
looking refreashed and good,this keeps disease from forming,I hope,I cant even say the word,but You Know What may be the problem,yikes,all that work,but if its
so Im not the only one and theres comfort in that.Kinda.

WE have rain settling in for later today and they are saying we will get 2-4 inches of rain by this time tomorrow morning. I'm not surprised anymore.

well it rained so hard last night it was almost comical,the weatherman said this rain would be measured in inches,its about quarter to six in the morning now I
just went down the driveway to get the paper and had to use an umbrella,its not raining all that hard anymore but the ground is downright soggy.
Btw,I read the front page of the Courant and theres an article about that late season tomato blight,they show a map that shows almost all of the easter seaboard as having been hit with the blight,six counties in Connecticut are reporting blight.The farmer with the correct liscenses has the fungicide to ward off the blight,the rest of us are stuck.So far so good,Im almost tempted to erase those words.

Yesterday was a dream day,I mean the sun never felt so good.Then last night we got thunder but it seemed to be in one of the next towns over,finally after
midnight it poured,its supposed to rain today then tomorrow its supposed to be sunny but rain is forecast for the rest of the week,come on Tomatos you can do
it..

Every day is suppose to be sunny, but because of the humidy, the thunder storms will build later in the day to give some good storms and a soaking rain.
Yesterday was like that. We got the thunder storms and soaking rain. Right now, the sun is shining brightly and it is wicked humid out.

Carol, it is 11:00 a.m. here and it is 86 degrees with a 68% humidity. This is going to be one uncomfortable and sticky day. I love the way the thunderstorms
have been running through every night though. I get up and everything is wet from the rain. The yard still looks lush.
